Hey Pencilore fans, thanks for reading this amazing review – I really appreciate the time spent on reading this.
First of all, a short summary of the book itself: When snow shuts down Greg Heffley’s middle school, his neighbpourhood transforms into a wintry battlefield. Rival groups fight over territory, build massive snow forts, and stage epic snowball fights. And in the crosshairs are Greg and his trusty best friend Rowley Jefferson.
As is made distinctly clear, this summary (slightly inaccurately) portrays a chaotic war being fought on a snowy battlefield. Rather unfortunately for Jeff Kinney, the writer of this series it copies the constant disastrous theme of the past few books. It’s disappointing as Kinney used to churn about five high-quality books per day but now he only produces one bad-quality novel per year.
Kinney also has tendencies to repeat the same blurb structure every book, but ending things on a higher note, this book has been one of the best books Kinney has released since November 2013, when Hard Luck (Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book 8) was mass produced for consumers unhappy concerning the last flop of a book.
Thanks for reading, Pencilore.
Until next time!
