Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief

Hey Pencilore fans, today we will be coming with a book review about the first novel in the bestselling Percy Jackson series: The Lighting Thief.

This first instalment in the ever-popular book series Percy Jackson is well-written and well thought out; the stratagem that Rick Riordan has blessed this novel with captivates the reader and compels him/her to never close the elegant piece of writing until they have completed the book. Even if they have completed the novel, they will still scan through pages over and over again for eternity. Here is a short summary of this genius-level novel. Percy Jackson was just a normal kid, going to school, playing basketball, skateboarding. The usual. Until he accidentally vaporized his maths teacher. Now he spends his time battling monsters and generally trying to stay alive.

This is the book where Zeus frustrated that his hammer has mysteriously disappeared.

I recommend this novel to fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid and other books where you are able to find slapstick humour within every page. If you encourage sarcasm then this masterpiece; created by the Vincent Van Gogh of books should be read by everyone within the age range of 10-15.

Thank you for reading, my esteemed and supportive fans and see you next time – Pencilore(:
