DIARY OF A WIMPY KID – DIPER ÖVERLÖDE

Welcome back, Pencilore fans to another book review. This time, we will be doing the latest instalment of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series – Diper Överlöde.

This book is a embodies a new idea of Jeff Kinney’s – more collaboration with his older brother Rodrick. The book depicts how Greg decides to tag along with his brother as they try and popularise his band, Löded Diper. This therefore sends Greg on a whirlwind of a ride. The reason Greg even agrees to this is because he wants the fame and glory of a celebrity.

Later in the book, Löded Diper faces Stank, another band that uses the same advertisement and idea of Löded Diper and causes difficulties. On top of that, they are sued by a Card-playing company as one of their cards, The Loaded Diaper, is similar to what Rodrick’s band name is.

All of a sudden, Bill, the lead singer of the band joins Stank, crippling Löded Diper. This forces them to employ Greg as the replacement.

Overall, there is an entirely new plot with many unexpected surprises – I would reccomend.

I hope you have enjoyed this review – Pencilore 🙂
